Kathleen and Donal lived two houses away from the cottage where my g-granduncle, William Swanton, lived from 1923-1929 after he returned to Ireland from Boston. William left the cottage to Kate Bradfield, and Kathleen and Donal remembered her well. They let me tape our conversation, and had many interesting stories to tell.
