1.    Thomas Swanton married Mary Daly in County Cork, Ireland.

Second Generation

2.    William James Swanton was from Bantry, County Cork, Ireland. He came to the United States before World War I. He worked on the docks in New York, on the railroad in Erie, and jumped a train West and landed in Wyoming. He was naturalized in 1924.
